Our Team Training sessions take place on the first Friday of every month, during lunchtime. These gatherings are entirely voluntary and open to everyone, regardless of their role or current project involvement. This inclusive approach fosters a culture of learning where employees can explore topics outside of their typical job scope, gaining insights into the broader workings of our firm.

Diverse Topics Led by Internal Experts

The topics covered in these sessions are as diverse as the projects we handle. We typically focus on subjects directly related to our ongoing work, offering “living” examples that make the learning process more practical and engaging. Recently, for instance, our team delved into Stormwater Calculations—a critical skill for a civil engineering project we were working on. This not only provided valuable training for those less familiar with the topic but also enhanced our collective problem-solving abilities.

Looking ahead, our upcoming session will cover such topics as Project Management. Our most recent training was a review of Visispecs (The Visual Specification System), a suite of tools designed to improve the coordination and verification of BIM models, project specifications, and other construction documents. This kind of technical training is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and precision in every project we undertake.
