The University of New Orleans solar field is a state-of-the-art array of solar panels that will offset 17% of the campus’ annual electric consumption. Between May and June 2023, Batture surveyed the existing Northwest parking lot where the panels were installed. In November 2023, we provided the construction layout, solar panel anchor bolts, and electric panel locations. Then, on December 19, 2023, we executed the fence layout. The collaboration between our design and construction teams made this project so successful, and is a strong example of how green energy generation is making an active impact in our communities.
